EVALUATION METHODS
Throughout the academic curriculum, students are evaluated in multiple ways:
- The examination methods are adapted to the teaching cycle : during the 1st cycle , the exams (MCQs, knowledge tests, application exercises) mainly aim to verify the acquisition of knowledge. Subsequently, students are assessed mainly through case studies, role-playing and project defenses.
- Each internship results in the writing of a report intended to ensure the acquisition of skills.
- In the 5th year , students write a final dissertation (MFE) and defend it in front of a jury composed of two professors. Validation of the MFE is one of the conditions for obtaining the diploma.
More generally, we rely on the following six levels of cognitive skills to assess our students:
- Understand: quizzes, matching exercises, etc.
- Recognize / Know: quizzes, matching exercises, etc.
- Apply: (practical exercises, simulations etc.)
- Analyze: (problem solving, case studies, etc.)
- Evaluate: (case studies, critiques etc.)
- Create: (projects etc.)
Instructors award bonus points for active participation in class or remotely when students contribute to a discussion forum.
